WELCOME TO THE CHIMAY BSD WEBSITE

This is the website for Chimay Belgian Shepherd Dogs.  All live  as house dogs  and enjoy competing at shows as well as learning hoopers, agility, scent work and tracking. We reside in the glorious county of Gloucestershire and enjoy the wonderful walks in the ancient Royal Forest of Dean.

Kiwi joined us in April 2023, she is Jupi's daughter and is a real bundle of fun - exciting times ahead!

In Novemeber 2022 Chelsea passed her first SWUK Level 5 trial becoming the first Groenendael bitch  in the UK pass at this level, Jupi passed his first L5 in June 2022 becoming the second Groenendael in the UK to do so, they both have both moved up to L6.

Chelsea became the first BSD in the UK to progress up to the CHUK Novice level in all four classes. She was the first to pass the Canine Hoopers Bronze and Silver Awards.  She has also passed all of the Online Good Hooper's awards and becomes the first Groenendael in the UK to hold OGH Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Beauty and brains!

Tillie introduced us to Scentwork and was progressing nicely, since losing her all four dogs are training and have successfully competed at Trials. She has left a wonderful legacy and is no doubt watching her family perform so well.

Nessu passed her Level 4 Scentwork in March 2022, Skellum passed his Scentwork UK Online Starters trial at only 8 months of age and his SWUK Level 1 at 10 months before lockdown stopped trials. He passed his Level 2 when restrictions were lifted then passed his Level 3 just two weeks later.
